A few years ago I got diagnosed with a weird kind of eczema called pompholyx which is itchy bumps on hands and feet (for me it tends to be fingers and ankles). Might be worth checking? Comes and goes, but itching it defo makes it worse. I think stress/heat related too.

I had this from weeks 28-30 then it suddenly went! Aveeno helped temporarily for me x

Try an oat bath as well x

Keep getting your bloods tested. Was it a fasting bloods or just normal. I had tbh is with my first baby nearly 3 years ago and I never tested positive for it untill I was already in labour (induced at 39weeks). This time round my itching is everywhere else but hands and feet atm and they’ve done my bloods too (non fasting) and still waiting for the results. However when I got that positive it was when I was fasting due to being induced I wasn’t allowed to eat anything x

@Joo it was a regular bloods but my bile acid levels were really low so not sure if it would make a difference or not. They need to be 19 or above to indicate OC and mine were 3.2!

@Kat that’s interesting. I never got given results of mine last time but if I continue to itch I will be requesting more bloods and will be asking if I need to fast for them too x

Preeclampsia has symptoms of showing through itchy hands and feet. Maybe speak to your midwife.

Do you have a rash at all I’ve been itchy for ages but now getting a rash and my bump, shoulders and it’s driving me mad xx

I’ve had eczema raise up on the back of my hand and my leg. That gets itchy but the worst is my back that’s not eczema related. And it’s constant I’ve torn my back up from scratching! I’ve been told it could be a hormone in-balance thing
