@Sarah we made our big purchase of a pram back in January, and a cot last month, and tbh I didn’t feel anything but excited at that point. The overwhelming feeling has only just hit me 🙈😣 x
I’m 23 weeks also Super excited Some days I’m like wow there’s so much to do how am I gonna be ready ahhhh x
Oh yeah all the time! Me and my partner have had to take it in turns to have a panic and a cry about it all! Doesn’t mean we want it any less, it’s just such a big change and something that you can’t even really prepare for! You got this 🩷
So nice to know I’m not the only one, finding it very overwhelming and scary at times! As much as I’m so excited and always wanted it. It’s a lot isn’t it, and our hormones magnify everything! Trying to remember everything always falls into place 🫶🏼
I’m 23 weeks as well. You sound super organised. I go through bouts of being excited and then nervous. Haven’t got anything for the nursery just yet, although quite a few ideas. Really looking forward to going on mat leave 😊
Also very overwhelmed! I’m 25 weeks, have hardly bought anything as we have to move house in the next few months and so scared for birth etc! trying to just take each day as it comes and keep calm 😂😂 x
Also overwhelmed! Currently 23 weeks, and moving house! Haven’t done any prep, but just made a list of the things I need and know exactly what I’ll be buying!
25 weeks here and we’ve only just started to buy things . We will be having baby in May so I’ve only got 11 to 13 weeks left I’ve started to get emotional now as I’ve never been away from my 18 month old x
I have felt overwhelmed this week I’m 24 weeks. We’ve been prepping things and shopping this week as my husband and I are teachers on half term. It hit me that a few weeks time it’ll be Easter holidays where we will have to do the majority of any building for the nursery / our room. And then the next school half term I’ll be on maternity prepping to give birth! It’s overwhelming but exciting. Just taking each day at a time! Think it’s the fact it’s feeling more real as we’ve started shopping for a cot and pram! Big purchases !
