Omg I would definitely love a second one. We had a natural birth but we’re planning on waiting until my son is about a year and a half before we start trying for baby number 2 x
100% in the same boat as you! Would love another little one asap but want to wait 18 months to make sure all is healed :(
This is my second, won’t be having anymore. I had small age gap between my girls and both were c-sections.
That’s interesting I was advised 18 months, in the same boat and mine was also an emergency c section
This was our second and done and I wanted a smaller age gap, however, that didn’t work out and they are about 2 years 8 months apart and it’s so good! The first was finishing potty training, really understanding the new baby, wants to help, no jealously, and utterly obsessed with her baby. Made the transition much easier!
@Sweta that’s so strange ! i had an emergency c section too after 23 hours of labour so i wonder why it’s different or maybe different hospitals recommend different times? strange !
I had a c section too, but was told only one year.
@Cody I was in a similar situation my labour lasted 2.5 days. Perhaps it is based on diff hospital though I’d have thought they’d all go with the NHS guidelines. I think there’s several factors to be involved such as health and recovery as everyone’s is at different rate. 5 months in and I’m still so sore and the healing of the wound is taking some time. That said I had an infection twice due to not being able to fully rest.
I’m the complete opposite. I love my little boy soooo much but I’m one and done. They told me 12 months before trying after a c section x
He’s my second and I’d absolutely love a third, but also now know how hard 2 under 2 is I don’t think I could do it again with the same age gap
100% myself and my partner struggled to conceive after 2 losses our little girl surprised us. I'm worried about trying again as was emergency c section but also aware it wasn't as easy for us as just trying and was a long journey so don't want to wait and then struggle again! Xx
We wanted another one too! I had a vaginal birth but was also advised 18 mth gap by a GP - she said its more to do with the internal healing of the uterus from where the placenta was
@Sweta I was the same !! mine opened up twice but was only infected the first time. Luckily it’s healed now, I can’t imagine what you’re going through. hope you’re okay 🫶🏻
@Steff 💕 Would you mind sharing why? if not it’s totally okay xx

@Nicole Oh bless you!! I’ve heard so much about 2 under 2, what are you best moments and the hardest? xx
@Jas I understand that lovely, you’re so strong! xx
@Cody the hardest I’d say are finding routine when they have different demands, your toddler not fully communicating so it’s harder when you have to do something for baby, the best is seeing their bond grow as your smallest grows and being more experienced with your second so you can fully enjoy it!xx
This is my second bubba her brother is 2 years and 6 months old and his just about taking interest in her, it’s been testing not gonna lie as my little boy is really going through them terrible 2s but it’s cute and worth the stress when he helps me give her dummy’s and bottles and rocks her to sleep ❤️
@Charlotte Are the terrible 2s really that bad !! 😩 but that is so sweet he sounds like such a good big brother xx
@Cody it took us almost 3 years to fall pregnant. We also have a 15 year old (stepson) and I feel my family is complete x
Definitely in the same boat, would love another and we don’t want a huge gap between. But I had an emergency C-section almost 6 months ago now and heard it’s advised for 2 years to heal. ❤️
