Toddler non stop eating

Is anybody’s toddler eating a lot. My son literally ate porrdge with berries and yoghurt for breakfast at 8:30am and since then hes eaten pasta and a small petit pain with butter, then cheese, then an apple, and now eating his lunch which is an omlette with tomatoes, olives, onions and cheese, an orange and half a brown baguette with hummus. Is there a growth spurt at this age? Hes been eating a lot lately. His childminder said hes always asking for extra food as well. 😂 I love that he eats. Im just wondering if other kids his age are going through the same now. He was 25months yeaterday.

My daughter had this a couple weeks ago, and then has been sleeping a lot more for over a week. So I'm thinking growth spurt

@Helen oh yeah hes sleeing a lot too. 3 hour naps in the afternoon

Sounds like a great eater, I wish mine would lol

Just here to say what a varied, healthy diet your son has! ❤️

Mine is going through a growth spurt or developmental sprout too. She's eating and sleeping alot and just generally alot. That looks like a varied diet. It looks like you already do, but I always try to remember to try to always serve carbs with protein and fats. Carbs digest so fast so you feel hungry faster, but the protein and fat make you feel fuller for longer. Eg instead of only apple, you could do apple and nuts Porridge with full fat yoghurt or greek yoghurt /blended seeds&nuts/coconut butter Also fizz, high sugar foods makes you crave more sugar, so if you use those as snacks, just offer them with a main meal instead. Give fruits as whole fruits rather than juiced or blended as eating it as whole fruits keeps all the fibre intact which is good for more balanced digestion But really, I don't cap my kids food, and try not to comment a lot about it they go through times where they eat a lot and times they eat little, I just ride the waves.

Ours was eating lots, and she's shot up about 10cm and now gone off breakfast and not eating as much so put it down to growth spurt
