First Postpartum period

yes ma’am ! i turned 6 weeks postpartum thursday and the day before that i started mine.

I’m 7 weeks pp and I haven’t gotten mine yet but I bled for like 3 weeks after I gave birth

I’m 5 weeks and still haven’t gotten mine

How long did yall bleed after birth ?

Still not ad mine yet and I then pp Thursday aswel

Got mine at 5 weeks PP. it was sooooooo heavy. Heavy than my post partum bleeding 😩

I didn’t get mine forever! Like a year. I was breastfeeding. Were y’all?

@Grease with my first I bled for 9-12 days. For my second I bled till 4 weeks and just started bleeding again a couple days ago when my baby turned a month

@Grease yes! It was actually kind of scary lol! It was only super heavy for like 2 days, but I almost called my labor triage line to see if it was normal or not. I’m a first time mom and no one ever mentioned what my first period was going to be like so I had no idea

I’m 2 months postpartum and still don’t have mine.

Postpartum bleeding can come and go. If you start having regular cycles, this is likely a period. If not, this could be continued postpartum. If it gets severe, there could be an underlying issue. Time will tell

With my first the day after my 6 week check up I got my period. My second still haven't yet 🤞

I got induced a couple weeks early and bled for 3 weeks I’m 10 weeks pp and got my first period this past Monday and it was a little heavier then pre pregnancy but lasted a day less than pre pregnancy

Mine started very weird. At first I was lightly spotting a few days before my 6 week check up. Told my doctor about it, he said it’s normal. Got on birth control immediately right after my appointment. Then that’s when I went from light spotting to heavy spotting to having flow. After Valentine’s Day, my period lasted for 10 days. I wonder if anyone else had a postpartum period as long as that?

I had a c section that made me bleed for almost 2months. Then a got a small period 2 weeks after the c section bleeding stopped. That one was not bad very light and short. Then this week I got a period with vengeance lol. Never have I had a period with so much blood, clots, cramping, headaches and body ache. Going on 5 days and starting to lighten up

8 weeks and just getting mine. 😭😭 was hoping it would have been longer

Mine is still pending almost 8 weeks PP.

I got mine back at 4 weeks pp 🤦🏻‍♀️ And my period is so much heavier now. I always had very light periods

I actually got mine today — 7w2d PP. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Are any of y’all breastfeeding exclusively? I just never got my period till I stopped breastfeeding
