Post abortion complications
Hi has anyone had any complications after a termination?
It’s been 2 weeks now and I’ve had a scan which said the pregnancy had passed but the lining of my womb is still really thick. I’ve been experiencing dizziness, fatigue, migraine and a strange smell the last few days but I have a little one to look after who has had a tummy bug so I’ve not managed to get back to the hospital yet. I have an appointment tomorrow, they said that I will have to take all of the tablets again to pass the rest of the blood. Has anyone else had this experience and what happened next?? I am so stressed out.

@Grace yeah I went back and all these symptoms stopped the next day which was weird. Doesn’t seem to be infection but still some left although she said it would pass with my next period. But have no idea when that might be as I’m still spotting from the abortion 2 months later 😬
Sorry no idea why this has just came up for me but did you get it sorted? It sounds like there might be an infection, it’s important to get it resolved quickly so it doesn’t effect your fertility in the future x
