How long did you wait to have your second baby?

My LO is almost 10 months and I'd ideally like to try for number 2 just after they turn 1. I had a C-section and I'm thinking will have to have another next time too. Just wondering if anyone has been in the same situation and if there's any advice or anything I should be aware of/thinking about before trying again? I've read to wait 18 months ideally but we don't want to wait that long!

3 years and 10 months between births. Also had c-sections.

Fell pregnant the month after my first turned 1 also c section mama here had emergency c section with first and elective with second they r 22 months apart and I love them being close. It is hard at times kinda feels like I have twins now they r 4 and 2 but they play together and love each other. I have a boy and a girl.

11 years lol

2 years apart Second boy due soon 🩵🩵 So excited for my oldest son to be a big brother. We didn’t want a huge age gap so we both settle on 2 years and that’s what we got xoxox

16 months apart, both c sections. It is a lot of work and very challenging trying to manage both newborn and toddler (now 17 months) needs 😅

My OB said to give it 12 months for a c-section and no time for a vaginal birth. You can also try for a vaginal birth for your next pregnancy - don’t let anything you read online scare you! We’ve been TTC for 6 months though, my LO is 13 months now and breastfeeding hormones have made it difficult. That’s something to consider if you’re continuing to breastfeed. Good luck!

I didn’t have a section but my first was 14m old when my second arrived. 33 & 19m when my 3rd arrived. EBF the first time and still BF until I was about 5-6m pregnant second time
