I honestly just eat most things one handed over him, I've dropped stuff on him and it just happens, my little boy had tzatziki on his head the other day it didn't bother him! I usually put a muslin cloth over him so it doesn't go directly on him/his clothes if I drop anything but I spend so much time feeding/with him asleep on me I can't not eat/drink. I try to prep meals/snacks in advance either the night before when my husband is around e.g. Smoothie for breakfast/sandwich for lunch etc. or when baby is in the carrier so I've got something quick to grab out of the fridge when he's been fussy.
I got a soup maker for Christmas and it's my new best friend 🤣 quick, nutritious, cheap, filling and just brilliant! 10 minutes prep, 30 minutes cooking and then I have like 4 portions of soup 😊 and quick and easy to reheat.
I am eating a lot of 5 min stir fries and eating one handed over her head 😂
I make overnight oats and a sandwich the night before xx
I usually cook some stuff in bulk for the week while my partner takes care of the baby for an hour or so on the weekends
