I have so many questions too. I'm still in hospital preterm issue, being discharged today & or tomorrow. Told I'll be induced on 14th at 37weeks max. How hard is it to find a wfh / remote job accepting entry level no experience working from home? And how do you manage with newborn baby? I'll be moving to a maternity home but rent is required & there giving me a chance or extension help anyone who can advise me on where to start
I started working from home after a month postpartum. It's been a year now. Just me and baby every day while I work full time. The first months are the easiest, but when they get mobile, it's hard. It's not impossible, but I think it depends a lot on what type of job you have. I have to be on Zoom all day but can plan when to make calls, etc, most of the time. I wish I could be 100% for my baby, but still, she is my priority, and we are happy together. Nothing against daycare, but I prefer to have her with me.
If I could have afforded it, I would 1000% endorse part time/ reduced hours. It just wasn’t an option for our medically needy baby.

I'd love to hear your experiences of going back to work (from home) as I don't know how I'll cope with a baby around, even if he goes to nursery most of the time...
