My son was diagnosed with autism, and we're having a difficult time finding an ABA therapy place that accepts Medicaid .

Hey everyone, The end of January I had my son evaluated at a place called Action center and the report was sent to his pediatrician and he was diagnosed with Autism mild to moderate. His pediatrician had 2 referrals sent to two different ABA therapy centers and they both don't accept superior health plan. I've contacted a lot of places and so many don't accept Medicaid and the one i found that does, isn't accepting the report from action behavior, they want a report from his pediactrion. I've told her this and she ignores that and last week asked her if she can have her referral dept find a center that accepts his insurance. Nothing was sent, I contacted her twice by text because she told me to text whenever and she doesn't respond . I'm getting frustrated now and even when I spoke to her in person last two times about this, it's like she just wants to rush us out. I'm thinking about switching to a different pediatrician. Has anyone else gone through anything similar ? Thanks for taking the time to read if you did 🫶🏻
