I see where you're coming from (also wait for the comments about early weaning. ) but I never bothered to make anything separate or special for my two, just whatever the adults are having!
I was initially dreading weaning I won't lie, even though she's my 3rd! However, my mum gave me a baby recipe book and it's been a GODSEND. I now LOVE blw and she's coming on so well (she's 9 months now). I actually enjoy cooking for her and trying new things. There isn't much she doesn't like thankfully, so far anyway!
As someone with a 20month old that doesn’t eat I’m dreading weaning my 5 month old, I can’t even bear to think about it his brother’s eating stresses me out so much. He’s not showing any signs of interest yet so I’ll keep my peace as long as possible
@Rebecca what recipe book do you have?
We did 101 foods before he turned 1 and I had so much fun with it 🥰
Yes, I love this stage, of them experiencing new foods. I rarely make her anything separate though, meal times she has the same as us, or slightly adapted
@Rachel ours also just has what we have, there's no way I'm cooking 2 meals
@Elena he loves mushrooms, sweet potato, cottage cheese, lasagna, beans, eggs, yogurt lol and so much more 😂 everyone said I am going to regret the work but like… it’s our child, I will never see it as a chore
