Teething and refusing milk

Hey, my little one has recently cut two bottom teeth and is now I believe cutting more. However the new ones cutting through are causing him to not want to eat. He’s trying to bless him but the sucking is too much and too painful.. I’ve given calpol and bongela in hopes to help him. He has just turned 6 months.. is there anything else I can give him to help? Also when should I be concerned about the not eating part? Over paranoid first time mum so have no idea 😪

Following. My 6m old just cut hit bottom two and is refusing to nurse. No answers just know you’re not alone.

If your using bottles that have different teat sizes, have you tried going up a size so he doesn't have to suck as hard? Sounds weird I know but it helped a little with my son when he first started teething. We were on size 3 teats by 7months

A doctor in the ER recommended infant advil and infant tylenol for my baby back when he caught a little cold, and he also said it'll help with his teething, as well. Out of all that i've tried (not all at once) was that the infant advil helped a lot with the discomfort for my son, he started at 3 months old, and 4.5 months he needed the infant advil-tylenol just to make it through the night.. i hope this helps 🙏🏼 Other things ive tried, camellia he likes the taste, and then older mothers (their kids are adults right now), said they used Hyland Teething Tablets to help their babies sleep at night I'm not sure about cutting through.. my support worker also said that the infant advil helped her children a lot when they were teething, too, just to say... right now in my area, infant advil and infant tylenol is being shorted, but it's been manageable cause he's 9 months old right now, 6 months mark was tough, cause the irritation and restlessness symptoms kicked in for his teething.. just to say..

I use baby teething orgel and I give her Tylenol when she’s having a really bad day

After 6 months you can give baby Motrin. Mommy’s bliss teething gels. Cold teething toys to chew on. I’ve heard moms suggest freezing a wet wash cloth and giving that to them to chew on after it has thawed a little bit. Sizing up the nipple so there is a faster flow might help, since he won’t have to suck as hard. If none of that seems to help, I’d call pediatrician.

Thank you everyone ❤️
