Help

I was doing my hair and I started to not feel good and I get anxious anyway I was standing there and I started to see black stars and it lasted for maybe a couple seconds and I got all sweaty but not hot. I geuss I got light headed. Or dizzy. I didn’t eat anything then yet but did eat after. I was so scared. I hear it’s normal and blood pressure is changing I’m also was 14 weeks and just got into the second trimester and now I’m 15 weeks today as I’m writing this. It’s kind of like if you stand up to quick and see stars. But I was okay after I calmed down and drank some water and ate some cereal and food later. This is my first pregnancy.

I have had this a couple of times from 12 weeks onwards, I am now 21 weeks and 5 days this is my first pregnancy however my baby is big and healthy xx

@Toya yes my doctor said everything looked good and on track with me and baby last appointment blood pressure was good too and heartbeat

@Brooklynn good, I’m glad, try not to worry too much xx

I can’t give any medical advice I definitely recommend you to speak to your ob about this situation, give them a call if your able too as well! But here’s my personal opinion 🤍 I do think yes it could be from the food and even not drinking enough water as I had this happen to me and had to go to the hospital from the lack of food and water in my first trimester, but I do think it could as well be the fumes from dying your hair which can become very strong without correct ventilation, dying your hair is okay in pregnancy but sometimes it’s just too much to handle due to the fumes Overall though, I believe your fine and baby is fine more than likely was the fumes and just lack of food on top of it, and if you do decide to dye your hair again make sure there’s lots of ventilation

And I agree with the comment above don’t worry too much everything is okay 🤍

@Jellina I wasn’t dyeing my hair lol sorry I was just curling it!

Get your iron, ferritin and hemoglobin checked and make sure you’re hydrated. This happens to me all the time (pregnant or not) especially when I get out of the shower and then stand while I’m getting ready. I have low iron

@Brooklynn oh my gosh I’m sorry !!! Noel has some great advice id recommend that as well ! We had a similar experience then which I did tell the doctor about when I nearly passed out and everything was okay going forth 🤍

Totally normal for me at least ..every time I know I’m getting up I have to brace myself and creep up slowly otherwise the black stars begin 🤣

I had the same symptom when I was 12 weeks pregnancy and my doctor said it was because I was constipated. So make sure its not the case for you

I had the same experience but I was in the middle of aldi and fainted. I think I was a little further along than you are though. My partner caught me so I didn't hit anything or land hard either. I remember coming too sitting on the floor leaning on his leg. My little girl is now 10 months old and growing so fast! I'd just make sure you have a water bottle and phone near by just incase. If you drink squash that might help too as its a quick way to get sugars into your body

I just realised I said squash and I'm not sure if the British slag transfers over very well coz drinking the veg squash would be interesting 🤔😅 squash as in juice but the kind you dilute with water
