Anyone else due in April having a planned c section?! How are you feeling??? I’m just praying I don’t go into labour before hand as I will FREAAAAAK out (I am not mentally or physically prepared for that😂)

I’m due a scheduled C-section 18th this month due date is 1st April but my baby is transverse and won’t stay still so super panicked if I go into labour her cord will come first 🫣 she was head down Tuesday but moved by Thursday xx

Have C-section 8th April when I’ll be 38 weeks. Think it’s very unlikely I’ll go in natural labour before then! I’m booked in because my high blood pressure and just hoping it stays controlled until then and 36 week scan is all good. I was 38+5 when it went downhill with my first.

I’m due April 2nd but scheduled to have a c-section on March 26th due to suffering a pulmonary embolism in January. I’m also praying my baby stays put cus I’m on blood thinners & I have to stop taking them 24 hours before I’m due to give birth or I can’t have pain relief like the epidural (I hate the thought of the option just being taken away from me rather than deciding not to have one) 😅

@Callie same here. Diagnosed PE and just had my c-section booked. Due in April but would have a c-section @39 weeks on the dot. How have you been coping with the blood thinners😩. Also I agree with you the idea of not even having the option for epidural is crazy. Limits option and my dr also mentioned that I could labour for too long, also going to be stopping the thinners 24 hrs prior.

@Mercy I haven’t found having to inject myself too bad (I’m on 2 a day) but the bruising and lumps have been a bit hard to deal with! How about you? My c-section is also dead on 39 weeks. I was given the option for induction if I wanted but i didn’t like the idea of being in labour for ages, being off the injections & the risks

@Callie been dealing with it just fine too but the bruising and lumps been just crazy too. Showed my doc last appointment and she said it was expected. Have just come to terms with it😩😩😩been a crazy rollercoaster

Yep! We find out our date next week, it’s likely to be WC 31st March!

Am due April 9th n I find out on Thursday when my c section is am high risk this time around , I had a 4th degree tear in 2023 with my daughter and they need to watch his head as I wanted to have a water birth

I’m due end of April but likely having a planned C-section at 37 weeks (consultant appt this week) as I have an obstructed kidney so had a nephrostomy bag put in place at 28 weeks, and the bigger baby gets the more pain on my kidney! 🫠🤯

I’m due 9th April but got my section booked for the 4th April. I honestly thought I was starting with contractions yesterday, I was so scared I started crying!!! I really don’t want to go in to labour earlier than my section, I’m scared of every twinge or pain. I have a cervical stitch in place which is being removed during the section but going in to labour early worries me I’ll tear my cervix open! X

Yeah I’ll book hopefully this Friday. I had a shoulder dystocia for my little one and I’d prefer to be safe side. I’m scared as well if baby will come earlier than that. Hopefully not 😅
