@Melissa thank you for your response. I’ve tried some fruit pouches but she’s still turning her head away from it. Hopefully starts getting better from tomorrow x
Poor little one 💜 it's hard when they won't eat, but if it helps, toddlers can manage on shockingly little to eat, especially when sick or on food strikes. I would just keep offering foods and let her decide whether to take it, and be patient. If she's not eating anything at all for at least a few days, that may be a sign to see a doctor, but a day or two shouldn't be too disruptive (as long as she is drinking fluids and milk, that especially helps).
No, it's normal to not eat when sick. The digestive system slows down to focus on recovering from illness. Focus on hydration & rest.
When mine was sick around 14 months, she took milk ok and wasn't terribly interested in solid meals so we relied on a couple of baby food pouches just to keep her sugars up. She didn't eat much, but she started eating normally again as she got better.
