Dry skin

Hi all, My bub has skin that gets quite dry, and is a bit red in the creases as well. Her scalp is also dry and a bit flaky. I've tried moisturising her 3x a day but is not really getting better. Any cream/lotion recommendations? We are using cetaphil at the moment. Thankyou!

My girls hair started growing and with that came the cradle cap. I started using coconut oil on her head. Massaged it in, let it sit while we have our bath and then double wash with shampoo. Seems to be doing the trick, and her skin is getting so soft from bathing in oil

Hey! My kids have really bad eczema, we use moo goo for them when they were bubs, luckily my youngest is fine so far. We also found lush have a cream that works so well for my sons eczema, dream cream it’s called

I use Shea butter on my kids skin and it keeps them well moisturised. Anything that's formulated with water won't keep their skin moisturized unless you add an oil on top to seal it in. Jojoba oil is also great for skin and is easier to buy and more lightweight

I secound massaging coconut oil. Natural remedies are best solutions IMO. I home made massage for my bubby with coconut oil , alittle almond oil , half a drop of camomile and half a drop of lavender essential oil (of course essential oil isn’t absolutely required, I love and use oils everyday) and I massage this on baby’s head and body, . My baby is a chubby bubby, no dry skin but sometimes is dry behind ears or on top Of head, rubbing the oil behind the ears no more dry skin and also massage in scalp, works wonderfully. sometimes red in creases / fat folds if it’s a hot day or we are out etc , I use the massage oil in the creases and wash with warm water and sometimes I add breast milk to bath , no soap and no shampoo just natural ingredients

Tallow balm has worked well for my daughter. I use the brand Tuttofare. For cradle cap I used breast milk and coconut oil and it worked wonders.

My bub has mild dermatitis. Dr recommended qv (purple eczema one) and if that doesn’t work then epiderm ointment (not the cream). His neck seems to need the epiderm ointment, but rest of body is ok with qv.

Hi love, please don’t use any products with food in it. Especially nuts, oats and any other common allergens. It’s more likely to cause allergies than fix the dry skin. Our son is anaphylactic and I would hate for you to go down the same road as us. QV purple eczema range is fantastic!
