Weaning - how much does your baby eat?

I starred weaning 1 week ago and I've been making my own purees and spoon feeding as she wants to play with the food instead of trying to put it in her mouth. But I only manage like 5/6 spoons and then she's done and the spoon isn't really full either. Is that enough? I feel like she's not eating enough. When do they start eating more?

I feel like that’s really good. I went by the Ella’s kitchen book and they said that if the baby is having one or two spoonfuls in the first month that’s really good. My baby has started having slightly more now he’s 7 months but only if he likes the meal. He’s still abit hit and miss on some days which I read is quite normal x

Its just the spoons I feed are definitely not full and hold like a small amount so if we were to actually add them up it would probably be like 1/2 full teaspoons of food max

Food is just for fun before 1 😊

Absolutely is fine, they’re tummies are still small and for at least the first 9 months, they majority of what they need comes from breastfeeding or formula, then I think it starts to adjust :)
