I've just been booked in today she told me 2hrs. Blood test then drink and wait 2hrs then a 2nd blood test. While waiting I have to stay on side as exercise aka walking for a while can mess results up. And a fast from midnight the night before

mine was so different to everyone else’s 😭was at bolton hospital and they gave me a blood sugar monitor thing for like a week i think it was and i have to test my blood sugars a few times a day after meals and record them, if any was high i had to contact them about it pretty quick appointment really

I've had it twice and both times i had to have blood test, then the glucose drink and sit and wait for 2 hours after not eating since midnight and then after the 2 hours they test your blood again. Then you wait for the results. If you have gestational diabetes you have to test your blood after eating and if its high then you have to contact them and if its consistently high then you will be put onto injections to keep your sugar levels down and be put onto a low sugar diet which also consists of not eating white bread, it's mad the sort of foods that can spike your sugars

Thank you they just did blood tests then sent me home x
