In the go lunch - need help :(

Hey, my toddler is so fussy with food. Any ideas for on the go lunches as I feel embarrassed giving her pouches out now she’s 18 months old. Thanks x

Sandwich, crackers, cheese etc, wraps, bagels, even picky bits? Fruit, yoghurt!

In the same boat here, won’t eat anything apart from pouches. He’s never liked eating lunch. Will eat most things for his dinner but always struggle with lunch. I do take a few things he can snack on if I go out and I do bring a pouch too even tho like you I do feel embarrassed but I just carry on 😂x

Honestly, you’ll know if your little one is hungry. There’s nothing wrong with a pouch on the go, just make sure it’s close to age appropriate as possible. We live quite far from friends and family so we do have to take a few 1-2hr journeys on public transport. And whilst my 19 month old eats all types of solids at home or a home like environment - on the move she would just end up tossing everything out of the pram and on the floor. I give her a pouch for 10 month olds when on the go. Usually the big spaghetti bolognese pouch or big sweet and sour chicken pouch both with the wide spout by Heinz because those are textured with lumps and chunks as opposed to just pureé and I just make sure to take loads of different snacks/picky bits that won’t be such a loss if they ended up on the floor. Works every time. Then when we get to our destination, she is then given the chance to have something solid if she didn’t finish everything x
