@Amey I spoke to the midwife, she seems quite worried herself but she did say they will put me back on the monitor for 11 and then assess the situation from there. I feel so bad because I’ve had this bad feeling for 3 days and ignored it until now. Just glad I got it checked and I just hope everything’s okay with baby.
Don’t feel bad you’re there now and that’s all that matters. It’s such a scary time when your on your own in hospital just remember you know your body and if not your happy just keep advocating for yourself and say you want a doctor brought back in I’m not expert when I was 35 weeks with my first my waters went I was in hospital for 5 days then went into labour i ended up with an infection and baby’s heart rate went very high. I know there is lots of reasons it can happen but you know when somethings not right mums instincts knows best x
@Amey yeah I think I’m gonna trust my gut and make sure I get some answers, thank you x
I really hope everything is ok and they give you the answers and some idea of what is going on. Have they ran any tests or done a scan or anything xx
Have they offered you a scan? Similar happened to me and I was offered a scan the next day after the monitor didn’t show any issues. I was 38 weeks so a bit further along, but I would definitely push for a scan in this case!
@Courtenay I did have a scan but they just wanted to check that baby’s head was down and they checked her heart.
How is everything ? Xx
I would ask for the doctor to come bsxk explain what is going on and ask to be put bsxk on monitor. Speak to the midwife and just explain that you feel something isn’t right xx
