I did with my first. Unsure where mine is this time. I never really felt kicks until 22wks
I’m 16 weeks and haven’t had any kicks yet. Still very normal not to feel anything just yet. At home Dopplers can be unreliable and often pick up your heartbeat rather than theirs anyway. So it’s best not to rely on them. This time is really hard as I’m similar and keep thinking the worst. But remember they’re tucked up cosy in there. The kicks will soon come :)
I have anterior placenta, and I just posted asking if it’s normal to feel no symptoms no feelings whatsoever.. I sometimes forget I am pregnant 😧
Fellow Natalie with an anterior placenta 👋🤣
I also found out I have one! I’m due 21st August. They said it shouldn’t cause any issues but I might not feel baby as much.
I have an anterior placenta had it with my first and again now! Im now 19 weeks and now feeling them kick xx
My midwife had rescheduled my 16 week appointment this week - one of the reason being it’s too soon to try and hear a heartbeat with a Doppler which makes mothers vey worried, she said even medical professional can’t often find the heartbeat at this time. Also totally normal not to feel anything yet, I was panicked but then realised in my last pregnancy it was around 20 weeks I stared to feel the baby (she’s 4 now :) )
I’m in the exactly same boat. I also feel its made me more nauseas vs last pregnancy. I’m trying to be calm and trust the process. But I totally get it.
