Sending baby to nursery
I’m having a stress about sending my LB to a mainstream nursery, we have a place for him however I’m starting to worry if the level of care will be as good in a bigger setting etc! I’m considering changing to a childminder as it will be a smaller group and hopefully better care with being less children.
What does everyone recommend?
Does anyone have kids in nurseries/childminders in Werrington/Bucknall/Cellarhead they can recommend/ones to avoid?

we went and viewed the wise owl nursery on werrington road, did not like it. the children were all snotty (i get kids are snotty but there were 3 adults who could have wiped their faces) and the rooms just seemed really dirty. also were allowing small children to take themselves to the bathroom which was near a flight of stairs that didn’t have a stairgate at the bottom, just gave me awful vibes. we’ve found a childminder now and she’s absolutely lovely and my little one loves going to her, i think some children do better in smaller settings and it’s more tailored care

My little girl is in little explorers on werrington road and I felt the same at first but it’s definitely the best decision I’ve made. I’m sure that the ratio of staff is very similar in every setting of if it’s a childminder
