Food for nearly one year old

So I’m just wanting to know what other people are feeding their nearly one year old. I give 4 bottles a day still and that’s 7am and then 11am then 3pm then before bed at 7.30pm So for breakfast I give one weetabix sometimes or I give a Ella’s banana breki pouch or toast with the sides off For lunch I give an Ella’s pouch the bigger ones for over 10 months and he just has half of that and then I will give like a yogurt or a melty stick with that Then for dinner I usually give a rusk and then a yogurt

My little boy is 11 months old. He wakes about 6-6:30am & has a 7oz bottle. He then has a bowl of porridge or weetabix mixed with half a fruit pouch. For lunch today he had a slice of toast with butter & marmite, half an avocado sliced, some grated cheese, some raspberries, blueberries & orange. He ate most of it. When he wakes from his afternoon nap at about 2:30pm, I give him another 7oz bottle of milk. Tonight we have goulash with rice & sour cream, which he loves. He will then have a 7oz bottle of milk at about 10pm (dream feed as he always refuses milk at bedtime) & will then wake about 3:30-4am for another 7oz bottle. Hope this helps x

@Kim can I ask which porridge you’re giving your little one and mixed with what milk?

He's still on baby porridge currently (I think it's just cow & gate), which I mix with his formula x

I usually do porridge (jumbo oats) with formula milk and a banana/ berries mixed in. Lunch is maybe an omelette, veggie muffins, veg sticks, followed by fruit or yoghurt. Dinner is whatever we are eating mushed up a bit. Pasta, curry, roast meat, veggies, stews etc. Again following by fruit. We are down to 2 bottles of formula a day morning and bed time.

Mines 11 months. At the moment she's not well so we have raspberries, blueberries and banana with crisps. Nothing else is being eaten. Normally I do toast with fruit for breakfast or weetabix. If she doesn't have toast she has bread with a topping and some fruit or cucumber/tomatoe. Dinners usually a pouch or pasta with a sauce I've made or mash with veg. She has breast at 7/6am. Bottle of expressed milk at 11am. 4pm. 9pm and 3am. She drinks anywhere from 2 to 5oz.

Mine is 10m. On 3 or 4 bottles a day of 5oz formula milk. Bf usually is 1 and half weetabix or oats. Lunch rice and veg or egg Dinner porridge

I’ve only just dropped to 3 bottles this week. Breakfast - Either weetabjx and fruit Or readybrek and almond butter Grapes after Lunch - Pinwheels Bagel Veg egg muffins Crumpets So a bread item with something else And fruit Dinner things like - Veg fingers Stir fry Jacket sweet potato Falaffel Yogurt for afters

@Hayley how do you serve the stir fry? Do you just put it on their high chair table and let them make mess or do you feed him with a spoon?

@S 🤰❤️ High chair mess 😉

@Hayley oh gosh high chair mess is not for the faint hearted 😆 I hate the mess lol that’s why I spoon feed but I know in the long run it won’t be good for me

@S 🤰❤️ I also bought a catchy ✨

@Hayley what’s this?

@S 🤰❤️ one of these >

For breakfast my baby had some blackberries, some porridge mixed with this plant based milk marketed for babies called Ripple, and some sourdough with avocado. Then for lunch he had chobani plain yoghurt. Then for dinner he had this “baby cake” I baked my repurposing sweet potato baby food, eggs, cinnamon and wheat flour. He had little bites of all these things but didn’t complete anything fully because he is teething.
