What does your baby eat for breakfast?

I see these videos of moms making these grand ol breakfasts for their 12 month olds, and I usually feed my baby milk and whatever I am eating for breakfast, which isn’t too much, sometimes oatmeal and cheese, sometimes bread with bacon and cheese and a fruit, I feel like I’m not being a good mom because I’m not doing all of that, but then again I work full time from home and I take care of her full time as well without my husband here, (he’s states away for months at a time for work) so, what do you feed your baby? And what can I do to not feel so guilty about this?

Waffles/pancakes/french toast/avocado toast/oatmeal/crustables, with fruit and some type of squeeze pouch or yogurt

I made a large batch of pancakes and egg strips and froze them and just warm them in the morning. I add some fruit, sometimes swap the egg strips for cottage cheese, and the pancake for a piece of toast. I keep it pretty simple.

I make mini pancake bites in a mini cupcake pan and freeze them so quick and easy. I also do egg and cheese breakfast quesadillas. Yogurt w fruit.

I’m right there with you!! Need ideas too

My baby doesn’t like pancakes yall 😞

Or eggs LOL

I was the same way I would always overthink when I saw the videos of babies eating luxurious meals and then I tried to do that but I was like this is not me.(plus it was so extra but if someone wants to do that then do it that’s their baby so why not) But I don’t really eat breakfast myself so I just cook her eggs with fruit and she gets her milk and then some dry cereal or we will have pancakes. Sometimes she has days where she will tear it up and sometimes she doesn’t. You’re doing great!💕💕

I make an over easy egg, or scrambled - with steel cut oats She has a breakfast snack hour and a half later which is usually cottage cheese or yogurt and fruit

I make a batch of pancakes or oatmeal bites to freeze/have in the fridge for the week. We also rotate with eggs, yogurt, oatmeal and fruit for the side. I try keep it simple - I don’t wanna be in the kitchen all day🤪

my baby hates eggs so it’s usually toast, pancakes, fritters, just something that has egg in it to keep up the non allergy,, i also do fruit and some sausage or yogurt

I guarantee you those videos are being made for the videos sake 🤣 my kids all eat what I eat, oatmeal, fruit, toast, eggs etc.

If you're concerned about nutrition just Google some go-to recipes of healthy alternatives; my 5yo hates both eggs and bananas but I can trick her with a recipe I have for pancakes that are just a banana, egg, oats and baking powder in a blender/bullet for a minute then cooked just like a pancake 👍 a little peanut butter on top for extra protein if you feel it's needed.

@Jamayah yes! I don’t like breakfast either lol! I only have breakfast because I have to, but I don’t enjoy breakfast foods

@Taylor the oatmeal bars sound really interesting! Recipe ?

@Sarah yes! And that’s what we do too! She eats whatever I eat as well

@Angie yes my baby doesn’t like eggs either!!

@Johanca R. haha it’s like no matter how many times i give it to him it ends up on the floor and eggs are way to expensive to waste lol so french toast, or egg waffles for the win

@Angie 🤣 we have chickens so I'm always looking for a way to use eggs!

My boy mostly eats pancakes with fruit or an egg scramble with veggies and chicken sausage and fruit and avocado toast is a favorite. He honestly doesn’t always want the eggs .

I saw someone else post on fb that they asked ChatGPT for weekly meal plan recommendations for their toddler and did it myself and got some awesome responses! My kiddo has a milk allergy so you can also ask it to avoid specific allergens :) It can also be converted into a grocery list. Kinda crazy.

@Oriana oh that’s cool!!! Thanks for the tip!

I rotate Greek yoghurt with fruit, cereal with fruit, and scrambled eggs and I don’t feel bad 😅😅😅😅 I feel like my brain is in survival mode so my creativity is down to 0. I make myself feel much better by thinking he gets an assortment of things at daycare 😅

My guy loves French toast. They reheat pretty well. But I usually pair a grain with fruit. Nothing fancy
