I know it's such a tough time with everything being so expensive, my wage would just about cover it weekly so we aren't doing it yet. Would you know where I would go to find out all I need to know and what I have to do about nursery's etc? Not from here so haven't a clue about anything my little one is 2 and a half already want to start preparing myself
We moved areas when little one was a baby. I used my council website, searched on location. Also check out childcare choices.
We're waiting. So my LG won't go till January.
We had our son in nursery as a baby and it was so costly I ended up leaving work and taking care of him at home myself, he’s now 2 and we were eligible for 15hrs for him so he now goes to nursery to give me a little break during the day and I’ll likely head back to work when we’re eligible for 30hrs
Where do you look to find out about the free hours?
I think you can work out eligibility on .gov somewhere. My girl doesn't get Free hours till January because I don't work. So it's the term after she turns 3.
Thank you, it's all like a mind field trying to figure it out and what's best to do
We went onto our local county website and did an eligibility checker and they confirmed and allowed us to apply x
My son went to nursery at 9 months… he then joined pre school at 2. Sadly we both work full time so I have little choice. He’s thriving and loves it though
