Accidentally used salted butter in eggs

Hey ladies, I accidentally used the salted butter this morning making little man's eggs, I'd say it was probably a teaspoon of butter. Think as a one off this small amount will be okay? 😬

He barely ate any eggs to be honest either. Maybe three baby spoons of egg

I really wouldn’t worry. The no salt advice is to stop you giving them eg a McDonald’s every day. A bit of salted butter in eggs as a one off really won’t matter 😊

It’s fine! X

I gave my girl salted butter on toast, she was fine.

Oh I didn’t know we weren’t doing salt lol I fed my girl some fried rice last night lol

@Alisia Haha mines definitely swiped some pizza / chips off my plate before 😂

Salt isn't good for their kidneys. A bit of salted butter I'm sure is fine as a one off! Xx

@Elena I agree, nobody likes unsalted butter 😂

Nothing beats real butter 😂 Thanks ladies, I was thinking it's probably fine. He also has stolen pizza off my plate and anything he can grab to be honest 😂

I think sometimes we take the no salt thing too far! I use normal stock cubes, as the low salt ones taste like garbage, might aswell just use water! As for butter, yeah nobody likes unsalted butter lol.

Babies can have up to 1g of salt a day. But as with their general diet and ensuring variety, it's best to look at the week as a whole. One day with higher salt will be ok if other days are lower. It's more about making sure they aren't constantly having high salt dishes.
