Early onset preeclampsia

For those who had early onset preeclampsia, how did you know? And how far along were you? Is it possible to have it at 15 weeks? I’m at risk of it since I had it during labour with my first and now with my second I am petrified of getting it.. I take aspirin and that’s all. Lately I have become so short of breath and last night it lasted all night and evening and I felt like I couldn’t breathe and I had pain in my stomach for hours… overnight I woke up feeling like I couldn’t breathe but managed to sleep and have woken up this morning fine… did I make a mistake not going to the hospital? I’m so conflicted cos it says online it’s so insanely rare to get it before 24 weeks and I’m only 15w 4d…
