Hi Susan, thank you for sharing that. Is there a reason they transferred two? I’d have twins but my partner is set on just one and would prefer single transfer. Do they grade them as well as PGT test? I’m wondering if they could tell from the grading which ones would have been less likely to be chromosomally normal? I believe it’s 500 per egg to have tested. Grateful for this group 🙏🏼
We wanted twins, but it didn't happen for us. That's why we transferred two. You can't tell by grading or anything if they are genetically normal. They would have to be tested. I had a flat fee of 1,500 and then I think it was 250.00 per embryo. I had 8 embryos tested.
@Susan i (not sure why!) Right that by watching ye embryos growth pattern with the photo monitoring, and the grading gave good odds of it being the most likely to be normal, but clearly not! I will speak to the clinic, they are very helpful. I like the idea of testing. Will you have another transfer for babies close in age instead? It’s so lovely to have these options isn’t it 🙏🏼
I am currently 14 weeks with a natural pregnancy. I do have 3 female embryos frozen.
@Susan wait, so you used a donor and then managed naturally! That’s wonderful… a miracle even? Congratulations! I’m 45 and I don’t believe it’s possible now so getting donor help seems sensible now.
Yes, my AMH was only .09 so I was shocked to find out i was pregnant. They only thing I changed was that i started taking Irish Sea Moss and CoQ10. It wasn't even 3 months. I'm still in shock about it. My clinic had called me to start my meds, and I had to tell them I no longer needed it.
@Susan that’s really amazing. I think my AMH is 0.2 in American units. Which Irish Sea moss did you get? I’m obviously going to buy it 🤣 I might have one more cycle before my transfer if it takes some time. My 1st appointment is this week. I ovulate in a couple of days so I miss might transfer the cycle after if they can’t Queen that quickly. May I ask your age? I think that’s the primary thing with fertility now I’ve got to 45 and spoke to so many professionals.

@Susan I’m going to smother myself in this!!! Thank you! I wish my husband had wanted another baby when I was 42, the decline is so steep after 42 it’s such a shame!
So very true, unfortunately. Let God's will be done, and you have that beautiful baby you also desire.
@Susan I’ll take the sea moss incase he’s busy. But I trust he’ll make time. 🙏🏼🖤
I wish you the best of luck in your journey and pray things work out just as you plan them to.
I got pregnant first cycle, but I also had mine genetically tested even though they said it wasn't necessary due to the donors' age. However, I felt it to be very necessary. We had 8 embryos that made it to blast but only 5 tested genetically normal. Even transferring two normal embryos, 1 boy and 1 girl, only my boy took.
