100%! My daughter loves it but I would say yeah definitely aimed at older kids. You can get peppa pig etc but they’re £15 a go which I think is a bit much for 1 character x
10/10 would recommend my daughter has one and she absolutely loves it and we have Disney princess, paw patrol, stitch, there is also one with kids song (example- wheels on the bus, if you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands etc.) they carry characters on Amazon and target i haven’t seen them anywhere else yet but im sure they have characters at other places
Yes
Definitely recommend my boy has had his since Christmas and he’s 3, 4 in August, he absolutely loves it, he puts one on every night and goes to sleep faster than before, don’t know if that’s due to the tonie box but I feel like it is, will be getting more characters for him whenever I can 👌🏻 100% recommend
My daughter doesn’t bother with hers she loves story’s but much prefers to look at a book and the illustrations. She loves music so I tried one with songs but still not bothered
My daughter absolutely loves hers and uses it daily! We got the dog that came with generalized kid songs and she loves it! We’ve also added a witch one that tells kid friendly “scary” stories she’s really into right now and other character ones from the movies she likes. Plus the characters make for easy gifts from you/family/friends
I think they’re good but not for such a young child, my daughter has one and is 1 1/2, she has no interest other than taking the figures off and on, which gets annoying as you get a couple words of a story then a bit of a song 😂 I think she will enjoy it when she’s a bit older! The only figure she actually listens to is a creative tonies one that my sister recorded herself for her, those are amazing and super easy to do so highly recommend that option
Highly recommend! We didn’t get it that young we got one for my boys age 4 and 7 and they love it so much. Plus our local library has figures we can borrow for a week at a time!
They are good but my daughter didn’t really engage with hers much until she was about 2.5. Now she’s 3.5 she uses it a lot but a 1 year old won’t get too much out of it.
100% got one for my daughter when she was one couldn’t recommend more she doesn’t know any of the princess characters she’s got (as she doesn’t watch tv) but still loves it anyway !! Really recommend the nursery rhyme ones and we’re going in a bear hunt & gruffalo
my daughter loves hers! she will be 2 in may, but she has stitch, minnie mouse, & the puppy & she loves walking around w them or putting them on the box itself. she doesn’t usually keep them on long enough to listen bc she always wants to hold them!
I brought it for my boy for his first birthday as I knew even if he didn’t like it then it will get use from definitely somewhere in between age 1-2. but he loved it from a year old. I leave all his characters out near it always and he loves putting them on and taking them off the box. He doesn’t listen as such yet to the story’s properly but knows what ones are what and when asked to put a certain one on he knows. I’d definitely recommend it!
my daughter loves hers! the cocomelon one is great and i even made her a miss rachel one so she can listen to the songs without watching her on tv
Personally for a 1 year old I'd say no. Visuals are so important for a kid of that age with stories. With the money you spend on a tonies box you could buy so many new books they can physically interact with and look at.
We got my daughter one and she loves it, only downside is alot of the characters are aimed towards slightly older kids from films and tv shows. We’ve got cocomelon & snoopdogg at the moment
