anterior placenta

Just had a 16 week gender scan and found out we are having a boy, so excited as we already have a girl. They also told me I have an anterior placenta, I had my placenta at the back last time so just wondering if anyone else has their placenta at the front and does this really stop you from feeling movement until much later on? Thank you :)

I have always felt little flutters but im now 19 weeks and i feel the strongest kicks now😍 had the same with my first born too

Im 20 weeks tomorrow, and i've got an anterior and have only felt bubbles and pops! I had an anterior last time and felt flutters from about 17 weeks, but this time nothing .. it's quite annoying lol!

I have an anterior placenta that’s high and 20 weeks, started feeling flutters/rolling feelings inside my stomach from about 18 weeks. Only when I’m sitting quietly in the evenings x

Had it with my first, felt proper kicks around 21 weeks and now I have it again with my second and expect the same

Thank you all for your messages I will expect to wait a bit later than my last pregnancy. I thought I had felt a few flutters, but now not sure.

I’m 20+1 and started feeling movements at around 18-19 weeks. I’m feeling them a lot more now but they’re only small kicks, and quite low down. At my 20 week scan she said my placenta has moved up slightly, and so mine is now fundal x

I had an anterior first time around with my boy. started feeling proper consistent movements around 24/25 weeks with him. I did find it harder. Pregnant with number 2 now and this time I’m posterior so the opposite and I’m nearly 20 weeks and I’ve been feeling bits and pieces since about 17 weeks xx

Same here.I’m 17+4 with my second and I’ve been feeling movement since 15 weeks. Started as bubbles and they’re slowly getting more notable depending on how I sit. Definitely feel movement when I drink something cold and lie on my sides.

Anterior with my first didn’t feel properly to 24 weeks x
