Home daycare question

Would you be okay with the provider only providing breakfast to the children and we as parents have to send in their lunch & noon snack? Or do you think the provider should handle all meals or none at all

I don’t see an issue with it, I provide all meals for my childminder

It could be that they have children with different allergies so it makes it easier for them if parents provide lunch and snacks otherwise they’d have to make multiple meals and plan out more than 1 snack x

Also in terms of breakfasts it’s easier to sort out as you can do cereal or toast which a lot of children can have, especially with allergies x

As someone who wants to open one herself, it's a matter of preference for the provider. I'm leaning towards providing snacks and parents providing meals. So deal with allergies and lifestyles to ensure I wouldn't give a child something a parent wouldn't want them to.

With how much you pay in daycare no. The provider should handle all meals
