@Maryam a settle in period is a length of time where Nurseries offer short, regular sessions for children to get used to the setting and people before they have a full day there. Usually parents can attend all or part of the "settling in" sessions to help their kids become more at ease at nursery, before ever leaving them for a full day. It's a way to gradually ease in to nursery without it being a shock to them. I assume as she's in the Januaru 2024 baby group, her baby is between 13-14 months.
@Federica I don't know the nursery but nerves are completely natural. I was SO worried about my girl going to nursery and the first few weeks were very hard but she's been going for 2 months now and absolutely loves it there. You're bound to worry as its a big step, but you'll soon get to know the nursery staff and be reassured
How old is your baby ? Settle in period means ?
