Nesting

Alot of women has told me that the day before they gave birth they cleaned the house to the extreme. Is it true for most of us? Im 40 weeks pregnant tomorrow and i have no sign of labor being near. I have 0 energy, barely sleep at night, motivation 0%. I do the daily chores but other then that 🤷🏼‍♀️. When i was 33 weeks pregnant i had that urge to clean every little thing, the walls the baseboard etc etc.

Lol not for me I went hiking at 40 weeks and then 5 days later I went into labour 😅 I had the urge to clean and get babies room ready but that was when I was like 20 weeks, I did read a lot before baby came like in the last week, but I finally have the option to read for pleasure after being school for 7 years lol and I just finished a practicum while pregnant lol

Absolutely not lol after 36 weeks I was a useless spud 🥔

My entire pregnancy and post partum all I wanted to do was clean and organize and buy things for baby 🤷🏼‍♀️

Not the day before, but weeks before. Clean the house, prep meals, make sure you have everything for the baby. Keep in mind, everyone is different. Plus, even if you think labour is near, it might not be! I soooo thought it was going to happen, and then ny son came 5 days after his due date.

@Amber im just so tired lately i can barely get anything done. Everything is ready for baby boy to come. Im just not myself anymore

@Danika being pregnant is exhausting, especially when you're 40 weeks! Take the time to relax, rest, have a warm bath, and do whatever you want. This is YOU time before that precious baby arrives. Wishing you all the best with your delivery ❤️

Never had the urge to clean. I didn't want to do anything the day before I gave birth except cook (I love cooking)

Not me, at 42 weeks pregnant I went to my midwife appointment and was still 0 dilated and 0 effaced. I was starting to worry I would never go into labour. I went to my husbands baseball game and was talking to one of his teammates wives who told me she went even further past due and everything was fine. I started contractions that night and had him 2 days later (prodromal labour so it came and went, not constant for 2 days) I wish I had been cleaning like crazy but it’s not my go to lol

I was 39 weeks pregnant and cleaned the whole house. I work for a home cleaner so 100% was done extra good lmao. If you are tired that’s okay, you don’t have to “nest”. I also worked up until 38 weeks, went into labour right on my due date
