Teething

Hello, my LO is 16 months old and is currently cutting through his top molars, he’s been off his food for a few days now and will only eat snack plates, is this normal? Also seems to be more constant with his bowel movements aswell, I assume this is to do with his teething? Would like to know if any of their little ones are going through the same.

Mine still only has 4 teeth 😅

My little girl cut 4 molars at once 😩 She didn’t really eat food food when they were coming through just wanted snacky bits, she also had the worst bowel movements ever😩😂 she’s also on laxatives so was just awful 😂 she also had a really red and sore bum and didn’t sleep xx

My son had all his molars coming at once. We finally can see a few now and his mood is a bit better. He goes through so many nappies a day, lots of rashes and not eating like he usually does. It will get better xx

@Penny My son only has 4 teeth, and I was do scared he was super behind. But he has been drooling and crying so I hope new teeth are coming soon. Happy to see your comment

My LB is teething his upper lateral incisors and he stopped eating. He barely ate for two weeks when he got his lower lateral incisors. I was so stressed. All this to say… it’s normal. He will use up some of his baby fat in the process of teething but you’ll both be ok. Just offer him some highly nutritious pulverised foods. My LB had a lot of blended soups, yogurt and fruit purées during this time.
