Has anyone else’s baby turned into the FUSSIEST eater?!

I feel like I don’t even know what to do anymore. I’m the last month my little boy has been poorly a couple of times and just went off food at that point, but the last two weeks he’s finally started to get better but is still just off food! He will eat beans, fruit, and toast and that’s pretty much it!! Anything else I give he just throws and says no.. He’s absolutely not eating 3 full meals a day. Snacks aren’t too bad but I’m worried that he’s a small boy, 2nd for weight and 9th for height. Everything is a a constant ‘no’ 😩😩😩 help

I don’t have any advice other than to say I know what you’re going through. My boy had two sickness bugs in December and ever since then he’s turned so fussy, I’ve had to give him pouches and yogurt to get him to eat something but recently he’s not even been wanting that and if I try and give him anything that he can feed himself he just throws it on the floor. I think teething hasn’t helped and I know it affects their appetite but from what I’ve read it’s a stage they go through and they become really fussy. Hopefully it’s just a phase. But I feel guilty he’s not eating properly but, he just won’t! X

My daughter is the same. Basically just wants fruit, toast, hummus, beans, peas and sausages! Even things like rice and pasta that she used to love she won't even try. I did pesto pasta with peas for a quick lunch and she just picked all the peas out 😬

@Kate same with us, pasta, pesto pasta especially had always been his favourite and now he just picks a couple of pieces then launches the rest! Does seem to be a common phase so here’s hoping it doesn’t last long for us 🫣 x

@Zoe after posting this I did a little reading in other groups and it does appear to be a common phase but it does make you worry! I’m grateful he at least eats fruit but hoping it passes soon! Hope it does for you too! X
