first PP period
So i’m 14 weeks PP and think i’ve got my first period. However, i’m EBF and on the mini pill (cerazette) which i am not supposed to take breaks for a period.
i wouldn’t say its heavy but heavier than what my periods were before pregnancy. is this normal or should i be concerned???

my periods were much heavier PP than they had ever been before. it took about 6 months to a year for them to get better. personally i never went to the dr about it, everything was fine
@Izzie were you EBF? because i heard you shouldn’t have a period until you stop BF?
i was EBF. not sure where you heard that but it’s false, you can absolutely have a period while Bf. it’s common for some moms to go a long time without having it but that’s not the case for everyone!

I would definitely go see your Dr or OBGYN to see if this is normal or something else going on. Especially since you bleeding heavier. Better to be safe than sorry.
