Mines the same! This is my second baby and my first took to it really well! Just keep offering… they will eventually. What I’ve done now is rather than making stuff for him to waste - I just give him some of my meal once a day! They will eventually eat so don’t worry. Xx
I gave my daughter a weeks break then tried again xx
agree with just giving a few days' break to reset and then trying again - my little girl was exactly the same, she then got a cold so i just took a few days for her to focus on her milk, then decided to give her some toast one morning expecting her to hate it, but she just decided she was ready and loved it, and since then she's been a breakfast machine, grabs fistfuls of weetabix straight from the bowl 😂try not to force it or to feel disheartened, it will come x
Thanks so much ladies….it does feel so disheartening when he won’t attempt to try anything….but I guess when he’s ready he will try xx
I have been having the exact same with my girl, sticking to really basic things like a quick mashed banana and it in sticks once a day and letting her just play with it, I’ve found since I’ve relaxed with it more and let her just play with it and I then eat my lunch or dinner at the same time as her she’s gotten (slightly) more interested but still not actually eating it, hoping she’ll just get there in her own time, you’re deffo not alone xx
Oh and it’s been over a month of trying pretty much every day😅 so dont be disheartened I don’t think we’re doing anything wrong they’re just going at their own pace (or atleast that what I keep being told) 🥲 but I completely feel it xx
Give him a break from trying food but get him involved when you are eating. I use to sit my daughter on my lap when I was eating and soon she was grabbing my plate and trying to pull food off to eat so that’s when I would make sure I had something on my plate for her to eat
