Weaning on holiday - what to avoid

Thoughts on which food is safe and unsafe to avoid tummy issues. I’m thinking breakfast will be a safer option for things like yogurt, freshly made plain omelette. Would you stay clear of salads and pre cut fruits where we would want to avoid that local water.

Depends where you are going? Also depends if you have already introduced the allergens (yoghurt and egg).

I’m going to have to take a lot with me because my girl has a possible milk allergy so I think packing pouches/ jars and snacks won’t do any harm. I will let her have cooked veg/ meat shredded and will probably just buy fruit for her or use the fruit that has to be peeled so I know it’s fresh x

Im worried about this too! Im going turkey

They usually have weetabix as well for breakfast. Some hotels do baby pouches if you use those… I’d take snacks with you… but pasta, mash, veg will be fine… you can always buy fruit and prepare it yourself, but never had any issues

I'm taking a pack of weetabix and some pouches. But we're only going India and dubai so can find home foods easily available.

Anywhere Europe I wouldn't be concerned. We went to Tenerife when she started solids and she had everything we had, no amends. Only thing I would do is use bottled water, but I do that for myself too.
