Has any one been penalised or bullied by these lot ? I am currently due to an ex who assaulted me 7 years ago. & now they’re trying to intervene in my new relationship with a completely different partner… Trying to put my unborn child on a child protection plan. Their reason being my ‘HISTORY’ surely this isn’t right ? Shouldn’t be allowed ? Also may I add my first son is 6 and isn’t on any plans or any involvement with them!! So doesn’t make sense

Sadly the highest cause of maternal death/injury is domestic violence. Any history of DV means they keep a close eye on you. You're in a lovely beautiful relationship now. But previously you weren't and women are great at masking so that nothing bad happens. They will do regular checks that's it. They're not taking your child or punishing you. They're trying to make sure you're not going to be beaten or murdered by your partner because DV usually gets worse in pregnancy

@Fii I get that but they’ve done there checks etc and still following through with this because I suffered with ‘ptsd’ & ‘anxiety’ Social worker sat in my home and her words specifically was ‘I don’t know why I am here, I have no concerns’ Then I wake to an email about child protection conference! Absolutely ridiculous, it’s wrong that they’re bringing it all back up when it was 7 years ago
