That’s great! Thank you for your comment that’s really helpful 😊
My son recently had an eye test at the hospital also 2. He was sat on my lap and the lady showed him some pictures on cards to follow. Then she got a little monster thing out and put it on the end of a pen or her finger for him to follow. It’s really simple. Nothing to be worried about at all. He was a little superstar with it too. Nothing was put in his eyes but that’s not to say that won’t happen my little boy may just not have needed it as I see Alex has said about it. Just wanted to let you know it may not always be the case. I hope this makes sense
That’s brilliant thank you for your comment, that’s put my mind to rest a bit. We have the appointment today so hopefully it goes well 😅
Im sure everything will be just fine! Can you update us after just to let us know what happened please? It should be very much what I’ve said but as we know these things can’t be guaranteed x
Of course x
@Rose it was exactly how you explained with a few more small objects to just follow, thank you again for your comment. All went fine 😊
They will usually give your little one some pictures to look at. They may put some eye drops in his eyes (to dilate them) and shine a small light to the back of their eye. Not distressing for them. My son has had a few since he was 1.
