@Monica she has her own drawer. When she was a young toddler she used to tear apart my kitchen. Once I gave her one she only tore that one apart. She stopped caring about that one and the kitchen in general until the last few months and started figuring out how to get into everything.
Yeah my son recently learnt the fridge open and closing we still have days where he is into everything or if I wash up he will put that stuff back in the water I feel it's a slow process as my son is 3
Ahhhh, mine is starting to get like this. She's only 16 months. A simple trip from washing hands to "let's go sit in the high chair" takes 47 pit stops because she has to grab EVERYTHING. At least baby proofing seems to work for now, but I dread when she's older and stronger because she is absolutely determined.
Can you try magnet locks? My daughter is exactly the same so we got some magnet locks for cupboards and drawers and as long as we keep the magnet out of her reach she can’t get in them. If she somehow does get hold of the magnet she’s worked out how to open them though 😂
@Kayleigh I found one with a key lock. My husband said he can’t do the magenta ones we have because he can’t drill into the countertop
Totally normal. Toddlers are very inquisitive. Everything is so new and interesting to them so it’s bound to happen.
Hun why would you put “you’re horrible parents” as an option?! You are not a horrible parent. This is all a learning experience and you just have to learn as you go. Toddlers like to explore and check out everything bc they are learning too. Don’t be so hard on yourself 💗
@Olivia ♥️ thank you! I just know some people like to be mean so I’ll put a mean option in hopes to prevent a bunch of mean comments.
@Sarah 🎀 yes there is a lot of very mean people on here so might as well give them an option too 😂 I get it. Some people just have so much hate in their hearts so they project it onto others. I just block them now bc I enjoy chatting with other moms but I’m not here to get jumped on for having my own opinion about things 😂 sometimes this app is ridiculous. But I promise all of this with your toddler is completely normal! Mine likes to push a kitchen chair to the sink and climb into the sink while I’m taking out the trash 😂 so they do wild things sometimes
We let my son have the plastic draw so he didn't care about the kitchen after a bit as we took the fun away
