My initial test came back as 1 in 3 for down syndrome, following week my NIPT test came back as low risk which means they are now completely ruling out down syndrome. Did anything show up on your scan, NT measurement?
I’ve just looked at your profile and isn’t it mad how I also have two boys the exact same age as yours! 😅
@Shubina I can't remember the exact number but the sonography did say it was within normal range x
Fingers crossed for you! The NIPT test is 99% accurate so they would go by that result as apposed to the initial test which is 90% accurate but based off of age, HCG level etc
I'm ok with baby having a genetic condition I think what worries me is the uncertainty of health complications for them. Praying for this precious life- not that they wouldn't have additional needs but for their wellbeing and safe arrival in Sept xo
Exactly the same for me!! All the best x
Hi Brydie, this happened to me too, two weeks ago. I scored 1 in 135 however NIPT came back low risk. I got my results within 5 working days so no further action needed. I went through the same emotions as you. Fingers are crossed for you 🤞
Thanks Deborah x
My NIPT results came back as low chance for Down syndrome so nothing extra to do now just wait for anomaly scan on 6th may xo
That's brilliant news! Hopefully you can relax now 😌 x
I’m not going through this myself but I just wanted to say you’ll be in my prayers. X ❤️
