Feeding

Anyone else’s toddler ask to be fed? He’s been able to use a fork and spoon since he was about 13-14m but recently he’s been asking us to feed him. So just wondering if anyone else has gone through it?

Yep! He will happily hold my wrist to guide my hand to what he wants on the plate and then guide my hand up to his mouth, or even pass me something and then open his mouth and point in 😂 It's ridiculous but I somehow get sucked into this game as I want him to eat!

Yes! Sometimes I just comply with her demands so she actually eats something 🫠

yeah my daughter does this sometimes! really depends on the day sometimes she wants to do it all alone, other days she wants help. same as yours, she's been able to use her spoon/fork for ages, she just sometimes decides not to😅

Yeah mine goes mommy help, I think they just go through a lazy phase knowing you’ll do it for them 😂

My daughter has just started doing this. She was just not eating and then one morning I picked up her spoon and she ate the whole bowl. I don't understand it, she's fighting for her independence with almost everything else 😅

Yep our little girl is very much able to feed herself but much prefers us to do it for her and to be fair, I do it sometimes to make sure she's having a decent amount as otherwise, she'd walk off from meals then ask for loads of snacks after
