I've gone weds and Fri because they were available at the nursery I liked. Seems to be fine so far. Thursday is my day off work and gives LO a chance to catch up on sleep as she doesn't sleep much at nursery.
In a row. My LO did 2 days in a row and tbh would always find on the first day back he was v upset almost like hes forgotten about nursery but second day back he would be absolutely fine cos he remembered it from the day before. The consistency is good for them i think
We do 3 in a row x
We do 3 in a row
3 in a row but I do notice she is exhausted after those days
My little boy does 3 and a half days in a row, we get a nice long weekend together and it works well for us x
We do 3 in a row and it works well for us. Also we had one week where she got temperature on her second day of the nursery which meant I only had to miss one day of work.
I think there’s pros and cons to both. We have our little girl in a row as she was sensitive to change before starting so we thought I’d would be our best bet, but she’s settled so well and I think would now actually adapt to split days if we ever needed to change. She is tired after these days but then has a day with me, and then days with her Nana and Nanny. My friend has gone for split days - her reasoning is if little one gets ill there is time to get over it to not waste money on nursery days she won’t be able to go to 🤣 unsure if that’s the best reason to split days but does actually make sense!! Also if you have the flexibility, consider what days… I’ve included a Monday as it works best for our family arrangements, BUT it does mean we have to pay for bank holidays even though she can’t go! Check nursery’s policy on this if you’re doing a Monday! I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer, most little ones are far more resilient than we think and will thrive 🙂
Ive gone bk to work 3 days a week all in a row dd
