Gone off his food

My LB is just over 7mths and we've been weaning for nearly 2mths now! He was doing great at the start but now he's refusing everything!! Even the stuff we know he loves! We think he's teething at the moment but didn't think it would cause this much disruption with his food.. Any help or advice would be much appreciated! *also.. how long after a bottle should I be giving my LB his breakfast and dinner.. we're only on 2 meals*

Following as we are the same - for the first month she absolutely wolfed everything we gave her, then when she hit 7 months she started being much more fussy and won't take more than a couple of spoonfuls, sometimes not at all. We've found that going back down to one 'meal' of solids per day has helped a bit. X

My lo was the same. He was teething. Calpol or teething gel works. He's back to loving food again.

My LO has been exactly the same, we were doing really well with weaning and then suddenly she had no interest. The last few days her appetite is picking up again but still not where it was. I read something that advised that weaning isn't linear in progress and they will go up and down. Teething also affects their appetite (we're also in the midst of teething!). But I wouldn't worry about it too much! I also started leaving her a bit longer after her bottle to try her food, so now it's about 1.5 hours after her bottle and that does seem to have helped her appetite Not really any advice but just to say you're not alone!

Tried a few different things and found he'd rather his food cold! Must be soothing on his gums!
