Homeschooling
I want to homeschool my daughter. She starts kindergarten this year but I just don’t want her to go to school. I want to homeschool her but her father says no because she’s not gonna be able to socialize and blah blah blah. Anyone homeschools/homeschooled their kindergartner?

I was homeschooled and plan to homeschool. I don't understand the obsession with the question of socialization. I think i socialized MORE than my public school counterparts.
Most states give funding for homeschooling and it’s used to put your children into things like sports and if you join groups and stuff you’ll be fine! I know multiple moms that homeschool in my area and they also are apart of 4h, and different church stuff so they are busy 4+ times a week

They don’t need school to socialize it’s such a bad stereotype about homeschooling, my siblings are homeschooled and they have amazing social skills better than most kids their age, you would need to do extra activities (free activities) with other homeschooled kids or find mom friends on peanut to hang out with, I’m sure whatever program you go with can help connect you to other family’s near by
