Do you have an anterior or posterior placenta also as that can determine how strong the kicks are, they are also so small still at the moment they have places to move to to hide so you can’t feel them as much x
I’m 24 weeks now and only started feeling baby girl a week or so ago. She’s my first too! There’s no proper pattern yet! Try not to worry! Xx
This is currently my second and I have an anterior placenta, I didn’t feel movements this time until 2 weeks ago (22weeks) with my daughter (1st baby) I felt them at 18 weeks, if you’ve reached 24 weeks and still not feeling anything definitely mention to midwives they will give you advice, but the fact your feeling fluttering is good so I wouldn’t worry soon enough they’ll be kicking you all day and night 🫶🏼🫶🏼
Hi! Thanks for the replies. I’m 22 weeks and have a posterior placenta. I’m just a bit of a worrier and with what’s happened in the past it’s just making me so anxious. X
@Gemma I get you I'm 23+3 also posteria and atm feel nothing more than flutters, also suffered a previous miscarriage, but my midwife said not to worry as every pregnancy is different and as long as you feel something it's fine, only after 28 weeks if there is no pattern will triage do anything annoyingly, sometimes I don't feel my wee boy move till evening and sometimes he's going all day. I think it's very dependent, maybe chat with your midwife x
Thanks for that, it’s good to know I’m not alone. I will chat to my midwife about it. X
I think it's totally normal to be anxious! We got this mama 🥰 x
@Vicki ❤️
If in doubt ring your maternity department as they may see you - mine saw me at 21 weeks for reduced movement x
How far along are you? They don't develop a pattern of kicking until around 24 weeks and triage won't monitor until 28 x
