Thrush

Hi girls, I’m sure I have got thrush :( i have messaged my midwife but her phones off with it being Sunday. Has anyone had thrush during pregnancy? Is anything safe to take?

what are you symptoms?

I had thrush during pregnancy, it was odd discharge and irritation. You can use the canesten pessary (dont use the applicator) and you can use the external thrush cream. It's safe x

I had some symptoms and bought a self test sticks in boots. My test was negative and symptoms disappeared 2-3 days later. The midwife didn't even look and just said thrush is common and recommended to buy a anti thrush cream in pharmacy

I have it, i contacted the GP because boots wouldn't let me buy it over the counter without a prescription. The GP prescribed another version of the canesten treatment.
