Rant: My WFH might be ending

I work for a gov agency from home, and because of all of Trumps changes in the government we were notified we had to return in office.. I live in Cali but my office is based in Cleveland so there is no way I can go in office. That was in January, in February they told us they were looking for offices within 50miles of our home addresses to see if we could use desk space. Now we’re being told that they have to start firing people because of the budget cuts and mandates. They don’t know which programs will be cut yet. I’m technically an essential worker but I’m also within my 2 year probationary period. Sooo YAY! Anxiety.

I'm a teacher and single parent . So when I was juggling a high pressured career and home life I was forced to choose one. UNTIL I found something that allowed me to be both. I am now a home based travel agent and it really has opened my eyes to how flexible and remote work can be and it is liberating. I earn on the go and in my sleep ( yes literally ) It's not for everyone but it definitely is something that everyone wants to do as travel is the most lucrative thing out there right now. I earn and save on my own holidays so I'm travelling more now and I'm part of a community of agents who are lovely and really supportive. Training is included and you have a website too which people can access and book without your input, you just get the money for it. We have agents from all over and from all different career backgrounds doing this as it can build up and allow you to earn way more your average role . If you're slightly interested I'd recommend you have a think about it.
