weaning

i’m due to start our weaning journey soon, but i would just like some advice/ tips from mums who have done it. i know that it’s important to start with veggies , but do you do the same veg for a week or can you do another different veg every day ? and that start with fruit and other bits like yogurt/ bread/ egg / oats. how do i do it ah, i would love to know cause i’m overthinking it and feeling a bit anxious with it . thank you

It's recommended to start with allergens first, alongside single veggies. So that's egg, milk, wheat, fish, peanuts, seeds, shellfish (there's others that I can't remember). I didn't introduce much fruit at the beginning, as you want baby to get used to savoury tastes first. Even now at 10 months I don't give her puddings, she doesn't need them! We do BLW 🙂

Hi I haven’t started solids yet but Im looking to start soon. Read a lot and got some advice from number of people. Ive heard and read about giving the same veg/fruit 3 days in a row to rule out any allergies.. check ellas kitchen for cute articles..

I’ve been taking it slow. I’ll do one low allergen food for 3 days to ensure I don’t notice a reaction, then move to the next and slowly progress that way:)
